DeLovely is Still One of My Favs!
It's time for a bit of inspiration at Little Miss Muffet. As expected, this week my teammates created some amazing cards for your enjoyment. I used Cocoa from the Sugar n' Spice Dolls and the DeLovely pad that I love!! for my quick card. As I am currently 2 seconds away from becoming a zombie, I'm cutting this post short! Have a great today! You still have time to enter the PINK challenge...
**Challenges: Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes, Perfect Sentiment - Anything Goes with a Sentiment, Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes, Shopping Our Stash - Use Your Favorite Things (Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely pad), Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes

What Can I Say?
So, last week I didn't make anything. After I went to the crop, I can't even tell you how many days it was before I pulled my supplies out of the car. That cough, which I'm slowly getting over, really just wore me out... Plus, school started last week, and I spent a lot of time helping my mother get her classroom and kids together.
I figured no one would like it too much if I took another week off. And somehow, I had a gang of projects due this week. My cousin requested some cards a week and a half ago for this Friday. I had some candy buffet decorations due yesterday. And, of course, DT projects. Unfortunately, I still haven't unpacked, my table is a mess, and I am only about 1/3 finished moving my stuff back upstairs after moving it down for the new carpet. I swear every time I take something upstairs, I get upset because the nice clean room I had is disappearing one item at a time...
ANYWAY, this is about to be another monster post. It's the *anniversary of my birth (!!), and I want to knock this all out at once!
First up, this week's card for the Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz.
I'm not gonna lie; July and August's sketches were a challenge!! My dear friend Sandi really made these hard! This one left me looking seriously confused. I decided to use rolled flowers to mimic that spiral shape in the middle. If you want a crack at it, here it is...
Next up, the candy jars.
I really want to see these in their full glory at Ari's party this weekend! She's having a spa party, and her mom is trying to do it big since it's Ari's first "real" party. I know the whole thing is going to be spectacular!
Finally, a new challenge started today at Little Miss Muffet. The new challenge is PINK, PINK, PINK! Now, maybe because I'd just finished Ari's decorations I was a little pinked out... This is what I ended up with!
PUNKY PINK! Some little girls have a little sprinkling of something else, you know? :D If you want to play along, you have two weeks. Remember, if you use a LMMS image, the challenge is Anything Goes!
*Anniversary of my birth - My father used to have a thing about "birthday." He'd remind me that everyone only has one birthday, then all the rest are anniversaries of birth. Well, he sure said, "Happy Birthday" in the text he sent me this morning!! :D

I Went to a Crop!
I went to an all-day crop on Saturday and had an awesome time. You know I couldn't go and scrap anything, though; I had some fun with cards! Sorry for not really editing these, but you can click them to see the bigger versions.
Yeah, I was there about 11 hours and only made 5.5 cards! (The sympathy card was finished on Sunday...) I am what I am! :D
Totally unrelated, but I so want to see The Bourne Legacy and ParaNorman! Did you see anything while I was at the crop?
Set for my Secret Pal. If you're in the group, don't tell her it's me! :D |
A lady at crop wanted a duplicate of one of my cards for her daughter who is going to college this week. A smudge from my stamp cleaning pad led to extra bling! :D |
Meljen's bear with some papers I got at the recent Scrapbook Expo. |

Are you ready for a new challenge Little Miss Muffet style? Well, ready or not, the challenge is here! :D We want to see your projects with Scallops! I barely have any scalloped stuff and until just a second ago when I started typing this post, I forgot that you can make your own scallops using circles. (Boo me!!) I hope that my MFT Bracket Edge Die counts!
**Challenges: Digi Stamps 4 Joy - Portrait of a Woman (Hey Jen!), Crafts and Me - Use a Digi, Bearly Mine Challenges - Sparkle and Shine

Carpet's Done!
Thank goodness!! The upstairs carpet is finally complete! I am on a vacuuming break right now and am completely sweat-soaked. It's hot up there and vacuums let off car-exhaust type heat. I've spent the last couple of days trying to figure out how I can rearrange my room to make space for my crafting stuff. Not that we eat in the dining room often, but I feel like I should start clearing this area out a bit. When I'm busy through a week making stuff it looks kind of like those rooms I shared the other day!
Anyway, here's a card that helped me make the dining room look a little bit worse!
I used one of MY digis from Guylou's Inimitability for this card with some stuff I got at the recent Scrapbook Expo. Luckily, I hadn't taken the stuff out of the bag so I could put my hands on it without rooting through the mounds of everything that now need to be put up...
Welp, back to the vacuum! (I'm letting this be today's workout...) I hope you have a great weekend!

Anyway, here's a card that helped me make the dining room look a little bit worse!
I used real blush to color her cheeks. They aren't quite that pink in life, but for some reason, makeup has a tendency to really show in sunlight... |

New Pollycraft, Hatters, y Una Mariposa!
Seriously, there are so many things going on a Little Miss Muffet Stamps right now! I'm going to try to run it down quickly...
First, there are EIGHT new images this week! There are 4 new Hatters, 3 Pollycraft cuties, and a Mexican monarch butterfly! Here's a card using one of the Pollycraft digis, Casper Silvermist Crush:
Barbara is going out of town this weekend, so there are bonuses if you buy stamps before she gets back on Sunday evening! If you buy 3 digis or rubber stamps, you can get one free. (Check the blog to see which rubber stamps you can choose from this week...)
Next, one commenter on today's LMMS post, one commenter on a DT blog post, and one commenter on the new LMMS Facebook page will each receive Iris May Hatter in rubber! I have my DTmates over in the sidebar to make it easier for you to visit from here. (I apologize as some of the folks have left the team, but I didn't delete them...)
And finally, the new monarch stamp, Hola Butterfly, is being sold as a fundraiser. Barbara's daughter drew the life cycle of the monarch, and each step is being sold along with Barbara's stamp. Two dollars from each one sold during August will go to the Monarch Butterfly Fund!
**Challenges: Bearly-Mine Challenges - Anything Goes, Jackson's Digital Expressions - Sketch/Anything Goes (I used most of the sketch for my card; I skipped the circle in the bottom left...), Party Time Tuesdays - Anything Goes

New Carpet Woes...
The upstairs carpet in my house in being replaced. The job was supposed to be finished Tuesday but didn't start until today. My house is a serious mess as a result of moving all the drawers, knick knacks, books, etc. from the rooms. Wanna see??
In the midst of all the mess, I had the worst time trying to photograph my card for this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz. I apologize for the quality of the pic...
Here's the sketch:
Come play along! You know we have great prizes!!
Yep, we've been watching the Olympics up in here... |
