Lazy Card
I'm still a little sinus-y and really didn't feel like working hard to make a card for this week's sketch challenge at The Outlawz. So... I used a sheet of digital paper from Peppermint Creative and a free font from kevinandamanda.com to make a quick little love note. I did spruce it up a little with some rhinestones and Stickles...
Here's the sketch if you'd like to play along this week:
We have Oozak, Color Me Creative Classroom, Jackson's Digital Expressions, Paper Temptress, Gilli Stamps, and Jellypark Stamps all sponsoring The Outlawz this month! Come on and join the fun!
**Sidebar - Have you ever used Organo Gold? If you've been here a while, I think you know that I have serious weather-related sinus issues quite often BUT I hate taking medicine for it. Well, the other night I was coughing like crazy because of sinus drainage. I had already had tea and REAL chicken broth with lemon but figured another cup of something warm couldn't hurt. I ended up with a packet of Organo Gold hot chocolate. (I do NOT sell this stuff; my mom bought some to help out a friend of hers...) While it isn't very chocolate-y, it did completely kill the coughing until about eight the next morning. If any of you sell this stuff and want to gift me some, let me know! :D

C'mon Black Friday!
Really, I'm excited about Black Friday. I usually go shopping with my mom in the wee hours of the morning; lately, though, we haven't found any deals worth getting up at 3 a.m. for. BUT, this year I'm excited because this darn Kohl's commercial will stop playing! I LOVE Kohl's! I mean, I've made MVC status in one trip before, but this Black Friday commercial is driving me insane and seems to come on every break... (I hope Rebecca Black got paid a grip for this. I had never seen her video for Friday until a minute ago.)
And just since I want to act mad about things... I ordered some Copic refills from Two Peas during the sale a couple of weekends ago. They've been floating around Atlanta since last Thursday and finally showed up at my house today. Let me show you some ridiculous nonsense...
Eight little bottles of refills in a 12x12x3 box?? I like Two Peas, but the shipping cost on these refills that take up less than an eighth of the box seems a bit crazy to me...
On a sweeter note, since I know that no one comes here just to read my rambling, here are a couple of cards I made for the June/July issue of Ready, Set, Create:
The new issue is only a few days away!
Oh, Guylou's Inimitability is having a blog hop on Dec 3. It's only one day, so mark your calendar! There will be goodies all around!

Who's Dammit?
In case you too are wondering who Dammit is, one of my friend's kids asked that question the other night and I let my friend know that my next post would be titled just for them!! :D
I know, I'm out there... Today's post should be about my card at The Outlawz for the sketch challenge, right? Well, here it is!
Let me tell you, this was one of the easiest cards I've ever made. It took me some time to figure out which image I wanted to use, but that was probably the hardest part. The image is from Doodle Pantry. I got itin the Help for Katie pack as a freebie during the Heart Hop at CDAC (oops!), and it came as a line drawing and pre-colored. I was running late getting my card in so...this is the colored version! The paper is all digital from the Candy Kisses collection at Peppermint Creative. It was so easy making each piece the size I wanted in MS Word. (Hint to save ink when printing digi paper: If you know that a piece will be covered, put a white box on top of the part that won't show. No point printing a whole 5x7 rectangle when only an eighth of it will show on the sides...) The ribbon is from American Crafts. I used red and pink Spica pens to go over some of the hearts, darkened up the sheep's cheeks with a colored pencil (my printer made the blush a little light), and went around some of the edges with some Colorbox inks.
So, it you'd like to jump in this week's challenge, here's a picture of the sketch:
If you haven't been to The Outlawz this month, Oozak is giving one of our March entrants at $50 gift certificate! Any Outlawz challenge you enter in March will get you one entry! Hope to see your creation there soon!!
**I'm entering Doodle Pantry's Digital Challenge #9 as suggested by Lisa over at Land of EnCRAFTment. Thanks Lisa!! And THANKS to Laurie for helping me remember where this adorable image came from! There is a DP stamp in the Help for Katie pack, but this isn't it. If you want this one, you can get it from Doodle Pantry! :D

Join Me at the Party!! :D
So it's Wednesday, and I've been telling you all about the party at The Outlawz. Today is my day - sketch challenge day. I'm not going to waste any time because I want you to hightail it on over to the party!
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
The image is a digi stamp from Kenny K named Cheyenne. She makes me want to act like I am going to work out! :) The background papers come from this month's freebie kit at Peppermint Creative; it's called Little Buckaroo. I had to fight myself not to put something naughty up top. I was thinking "Cowpoke Inspector" but convinced myself to hold back. (I was one of those kids who knew all the nasty jokes; I call it "my 2nd grade brain" when it happens now...) :D
Well, since I can't play for any of the amazing prizes that are up for grabs at The Outlawz during party week, I'm going to enter my card in Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #32 - Circles! You have made it to the end. Git over to the par-tay, pardner!!
