Happy Valentine's Day!

Much love to all of you who stop by my blog and leave sweet comments! (Hey Sara, Penny, and Carla!)  I hope all of you are having a great day regardless of the date when you read this post.

I'm sharing the card I made today for my honey. Do you really have to go masculine for Valentine's Day? I know I sure didn't...

Smoochin Cupid digi stamp from Mayzy Art, colored with Copic markers. (skin YR65+E13/15/17) Echo Park Love Story papers
This is an easel card. I'll have to put up another picture to show what it looks like... Updated: Here it is! :D

More Rubber at Little Miss Muffet!

That's right - eight fabulous digis from Little Miss Muffet Stamps are now available in rubber! As exciting as that is, it also means that these digis will be retired and you won't be able to get them in the store much longer! Some of the monster stamps that I LOVE are in this set of rubber/retiring stamps. Once the weekend is over, these digis will be no more, so, if you like digital stamps, I suggest you head over and scoop them up. LMMS rubber stamps are awesome too, though!

Here's a card that I made with the assistance of my little cousin Munirah using the Summer Monkey digi stamp:

Munirah did a fabulous job of picking Copic colors to match papers. I only had to explain what her job was once, and she got busy telling me which colors would work best. What she doesn't know is that this card is going to be for her; I'm supposed to ride up on Saturday for her birthday bbq.

She really wanted to use my markers, but not this time!! She and her sister, Kayla, both made cards by themselves.

Here's Munirah's using the LMMS Easter Lamb digi:

I think I scared her out of coloring hard! We made some Shrinky Dinks earlier, and those have to be colored lightly...

And Kayla's card with a Mayzy Art stamp.
I asked Kayla why this girl is white with brown hands and arms. Just so YOU know, "those are her gloves."  :D
My computer just said it's about to hibernate automatically so I have to run!

Ninjas are Killers!

My father bought me a Ninja (blender/food processor) for Christmas. I just decided to pull it out since I can get lots of fresh fruit for smoothies and it's getting close to the time that I hate being so fluffy - summer. Well, let me just say that the blades on that thing are no joke! I'm sitting here looking like a crazy person with my fingers all bandaged up. I cut myself twice in less than 12 hours. The first time, my thumb kind of grazed the blade as I was washing it. Then, as I was taking the dishes out of the dishwasher today, I went to grab a cup, and the blade went right up into my pinky. It is so not easy to color or type with a bandaged pinky. BUT, I'm making due. I should be back with another card in just a few hours...

In the meantime, here is my card for this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz using Maurine with Tea from MayzyArt and a sentiment from Flourishes.
I had forgotten that my phone's charger works in my camera until I looked at the camera today. Thank goodness because I am tired of looking for the charger! (And of looking at my cell camera's shots...)

And, so you can play along, here's the sketch...
Remember, an entry into any challenge at The Outlawz this month will give you a shot at prizes from Oozak, Jackson's Digital Expressions, Gilli Rubber Stamps, Paper Temptress, and Color Me Creative Classroom! Oh, Outlawz founder Colleen Holmes recently took over Through the Craftroom Door magazine! Her first issue just came out; check it out!

This Week's Sketch!

Since I haven't gotten enough sleep before work the last two nights (my fault), I figured there was no need to try to find a clever title for today's post. It is what it is... So, here's my card!

I used another digi from MayzyArt; this one is called Jean. It doesn't really show in the pic, but her accessories are glittered. That extra bright colorful paper is from one of those $1 bins at Target, and the sentiment is from Fiskars. Can I just say that the smell of rubber makes me ill? Like, I opened that pack of stamps and was immediately upset by how strong they smell. Anyone else with this issue??

This week's inspirational sketch at The Outlawz.
There's the sketch. I know you can come up with something for this one! Remember, if you decide to play along this month, you'll be eligible for prizes from Guylou's Inimitability and Paper Temptress AND our site-wide sponsors! Oh, I just saw that there's an exclusive MayzyArt stamp in the Freebies section of The Outlawz! Make it happen, y'all!

I'm Out!

That's right. I'm out of ideas for a blog post title! Sometimes it's easy, but I don't want to just say what the card is for every time. I feel like you all like to visit more when you don't know what you're going to get once you get here, ya know?

Anyway, here is today's card for the Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz:

I recently saw on someone's blog how to make a shamrock out of heart punches. I should have inked the edges so they'd stand out a little more...
That cute face is St. Patty from MayzyArt. Here's a heads-up; she's only $1.50 until March 17! Plus, May will send you an exclusive, FREE stamp with your purchase! (The freebie changes monthly.) I just found this shop yesterday after watching one of Lisa Sumpter's videos on YouTube, and there are already more stamps for sale! I like them because, well, they're super cute and they work no matter what color you decide to make them. (That's important to me as my family and friends go from one end of the spectrum to the other and I need my stamping money's worth...) Okay, enough selling!

Here's this week's sketch:

Remember, this month the Sketch Challenge is being sponsored by both Guylou's Inimitability AND Paper Temptress! Plus, The Outlawz has site-wide prizes from Oozak, Gilli Stamps, Paper Temptress (yep, again!), and Color Me Creative Classroom! I hope you'll join us!

Challenges: Use it Tuesday - Go Green (old paper, sentiment stickers that have only made it out of the sticker binder once before - at Halloween!, gems from a Studio G stamp set that's never been used, and a stamp I got from eBay about this time last year...),  Ladybug Crafts Ink - Anything Goes, Kaboodle Doodles - Show Us Some Green, MyGrafico - St. Patrick's Day, Simon Says Stamp and Show - Anything Goes
