Elves at Work

I've been trying to figure out what to do with this cute image (Elves at Work) from A Day for Daisies for a couple of days now. (Yet another FREE digi to members of the ADFD group on CDAC... I told you that you wanted to join.) I had this paper from Close to My Heart's Jingle collection chosen when I colored the image, but this paper seems too busy for the image. I tried to scan it and shrink it, but somewhere between my scanner, monitor, and printer, the colors were all off.  I did manage to shrink one paper from the kit and used it to paper piece the present. I was going with sketch #83 from IC Sketches and used the black paper to help tone this card down a little bit. I'm entering this card into Sparkle Creations Weekly Christmas Card Challenges #41 (Christmas Trees) and Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge #49 (Paper Piecing). The card looks a little dark on my monitor (recurring theme...), but I hope it's okay on your end.
