I'm feeling a little bit behind right now, but while I have a minute...
Thank you to Monica and Priyanka for giving me blog awards this week! Monica gave me the Liebster Blog Award, and Priyanka gave me a Stylish Blogger Award. I'll get on figuring out who to pass what to later... If you have a moment to check them out, please do. Monica makes awesome jewelry, cards, and crafts. Priyanka is a fabulous card maker who also draws. This is my favorite of hers - so far!
I also want to thank Jak Heath. She is the amazing card maker who put on the first part of the Help for Katie drive. I won a set of ProMarkers during the drive; they arrived today. I am very excited!

Not My Norm...
Hey!! It's Wednesday aka Sketch Challenge Day at The Outlawz! I have a mini story to share before I show you my card. Last week, I finally uploaded a card from November onto Split Coast Stampers. Well, they featured my card on their Facebook wall. I don't have FB and couldn't figure out why this card had, like, a thousand views in a day. Luckily, I wrote to some of the ladies who commented on my card, and they let me know what the deal was. I was way too excited. I was also inspired to make another card that didn't have coloring on it. (I love to color so this is hard for me!)
But okay, here's the sketch...
And here's my card:
For this card I used Urban Prarie papers from Basic Grey, a Marvy Uchida punch, a CTMH stamp from the True Friends set, scoreboard and the Swirling Lace punch by MS, Crystazzi flatback crystals, Offray Ribbon, Queen & Co pearls, a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in white, and Glossy Accents. I also had to color some of the stamp in with a Copic Multiliner...
I hope that you'll come play in the sketch challenge at The Outlawz!
Love you, Dad!!

What do you think?
For the last few months, I've been squirreling away supplies for some blog candy. Do you think I should do it at 150 followers (I have 148 now) or wait until my birthday in the summer (when I'd have more stuff stashed)? I'm thinking of having two giveaways - one for those who already follow me and one that's open to both old and new followers. Let me know what you think...

Anything Goes at Guylou's Inimitability!
The new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability is Anything Goes! Remember, you can enter a card with any image, but there are more chances for you to win the challenge and be a Guest Design Team member if you use a Guylou's Inimitability image. You can get an extra chance to win if you use the featured stamps for this challenge - Molly or Phillip. Here's my card with Molly:
The sketch is from Cards & Things. Copics colored the image, and the paper is from The Paper Studio!
So, you have until 10 p.m. on March 3 to link your card over at Guylou's. Hope to see your card soon!!

Join Me at the Party!! :D
So it's Wednesday, and I've been telling you all about the party at The Outlawz. Today is my day - sketch challenge day. I'm not going to waste any time because I want you to hightail it on over to the party!
Here's the sketch:
And here's my card:
The image is a digi stamp from Kenny K named Cheyenne. She makes me want to act like I am going to work out! :) The background papers come from this month's freebie kit at Peppermint Creative; it's called Little Buckaroo. I had to fight myself not to put something naughty up top. I was thinking "Cowpoke Inspector" but convinced myself to hold back. (I was one of those kids who knew all the nasty jokes; I call it "my 2nd grade brain" when it happens now...) :D
Well, since I can't play for any of the amazing prizes that are up for grabs at The Outlawz during party week, I'm going to enter my card in Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenge #32 - Circles! You have made it to the end. Git over to the par-tay, pardner!!

What day is today? (My grandma likes to ask that...)
You know how you go to the grocery store and get amazed at how quickly they switch to a new holiday? Like how two days after Christmas, everyone already had up stuff for Valentine's Day? Well, I think I caught some of that! Everyone's working on Valentine's cards, and I just jumped over that (and St. Patrick's) to Easter!
I only own a few rubber stamps and had some them out the other day. I was looking for a stamp for this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz. The Greeting Farm's Easter Anya is so cute, but I think I did a bad job when I cut the foam because one of her ponytails will not stamp if I don't give the stamp a little rock action. Needless to say, I stamped a bunch of these with one raggedy ponytail. My solution? Cut them off! Anya's cute enough for a short do! (Some of them will be rockin' the side pony too...)
The eggs were cut using a template from Tethered2Home. (Check out the amazing Easter egg garland she made last year...) The paper is from The Paper Studio's So-So Sweet stack.
So, that's my card. Here's the sketch if you want to join in at The Outlawz!
p.s. We're having a celebration starting next week! There are tons of prizes including a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com and a free Copic class with Suzanne Dean!

Heart Challenge at Guylou's Inimitability - Are You Wearing Red?
Hey, are you wearing your red today? It's National Wear Red Day; the red is supposed to remind you that heart disease is the number one killer of women... (FYI - Until the 6th, Macy's is giving an extra 20% off if you shop in your red!)
February is also Heart Month, and the new challenge at Guylou's Inimitability is I {{Heart}} YOU! If you want to enter the challenge your project needs to have at least one heart on it. Simple, right? Especially with Valentine's Day right around the corner! You have until 10 pm EST on February 17 to link up your project. Remember, a randomly chosen participant will get free digis and a guest design team spot!
For this challenge, the DT was given the new Love Seat digi to work with. My teammates came up with some fabulous cards with this stamp! Here is my card...
As simple as this card looks, it took me, like, a day and a half to get done! I used some FREE digital paper from Canon for the background and the paper piecing.
Okay, all you need is a heart; I expect to see you in the challenge!
