You know how you go to the grocery store and get amazed at how quickly they switch to a new holiday? Like how two days after Christmas, everyone already had up stuff for Valentine's Day? Well, I think I caught some of that! Everyone's working on Valentine's cards, and I just jumped over that (and St. Patrick's) to Easter!
I only own a few rubber stamps and had some them out the other day. I was looking for a stamp for this week's Sketch Challenge at The Outlawz. The Greeting Farm's Easter Anya is so cute, but I think I did a bad job when I cut the foam because one of her ponytails will not stamp if I don't give the stamp a little rock action. Needless to say, I stamped a bunch of these with one raggedy ponytail. My solution? Cut them off! Anya's cute enough for a short do! (Some of them will be rockin' the side pony too...)
The eggs were cut using a template from Tethered2Home. (Check out the amazing Easter egg garland she made last year...) The paper is from The Paper Studio's So-So Sweet stack.
So, that's my card. Here's the sketch if you want to join in at The Outlawz!
p.s. We're having a celebration starting next week! There are tons of prizes including a $50 gift certificate to Oozak.com and a free Copic class with Suzanne Dean!
Trina, this card made me smile. I love her dippity do...she looks like a little pixie. Well, a pixie dressed as a bunny, LOL. I love how you took the sketch and turned the hearts into Easter eggs. I have the same problem with some of my stamps...I use my copic multiliner to draw in the lighter areas. Do you have one? If not, girl, you gotta get you one!
ReplyDeleteIt's just PRECIOUS!!! So very cute.
