As I was thinking about what to make for the new challenge at
Guylou's Inimitability, I couldn't stop myself from singing Yankee Doodle! Why? Well, the challenge is for you to put a
FEATHER on your project, and my brain thought of Yankee Doodle sticking a feather on his hat... (If I could map how my brain goes everywhere with a simple thought, you'd be amazed at what you saw.) But wouldn't you know after all that singing, I couldn't find a single blank-ing feather?! I know I have some. My dear pal
Theresa sent me some quite a while back. I found everything but those feathers.
SO... I cheated! I used a bird image! :D I figured I should get a pass for making a non-cute spooky card for the last challenge.

Oh, Trina, I love how you think! (Sorta reminds me of myself! Scaaaaaary!) LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute--love that fun image, coloring, sparkle on the birdie, and the sentiment! :^)
Hugs, Penny
A cute little card and a sweet little birdie . Thank you for joing us at the papercraftjunkies challenge blog and good luck xx
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cute, Trina! Love the papers and the fun image! I don't think you cheated at all - lol! I couldn't find any of my feathers either so I went to JoAnn's and they let me pick up the strays from their feather boas that had fallen on the floor! We crafters are a clever and frugal bunch!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Trina. Love the sprakle on the birdies wing! HUGS
ReplyDeleteToo cute Trina. Like the little sparklin birdie. Thanks for playing with us at Mema's Crafts. Hope you will visit us every month.
ReplyDeleteTrina, I almost could find any feathers either, and also thought of using a bird image instead. I think it still counts! LOL
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! Love your creative take on the feather theme! Great card, Trina.
